Livewire

LiveWire is an American electric motorcycle brand, established in 2019 as a standalone label by Harley-Davidson. The LiveWire ONE is the flagship model: a fully electric naked bike with instant throttle response, a range of approximately 235 kilometres, and a distinctive sound profile. In 2022, LiveWire was spun off as a separately listed company, with the explicit mission of accelerating electric mobility in the premium segment.

In the Dutch used-motorcycle market, LiveWire remains a niche brand. It attracts riders who want to combine electric riding with a premium experience and a recognisable name. Running costs are low due to the simple electric drivetrain, but replacement parts are available only through authorised dealers. LiveWire positions itself above Zero Motorcycles in terms of price and brand prestige, targeting riders familiar with the Harley-Davidson ecosystem who are ready to make the switch to emissions-free riding.
