The KTM 620 LC4 is an air-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke of 609 cc produced by KTM from 1994 to 2000 as the successor to the 600 LC4. The SOHC two-valve engine is a development of its predecessor: greater displacement, improved carburation and a more refined character. The long-stroke design provides a broad, torque-rich power band that works well on both road and light off-road terrain. The 620 LC4 was available in enduro, supermoto and adventure configurations.
The 620 LC4 suits riders who want a robust single for versatile use. Its combination of low weight, tall riding position and solid torque makes it well-suited to touring on secondary roads and adventurous routes. Less experienced riders may find its direct engine character demanding; seasoned riders appreciate its honesty and ease of maintenance. Contemporary rivals include the BMW F 650 and Honda XRV 750 Africa Twin.
