The Kawasaki Versys 1000 SE is the premium sport-touring version of the fourth-generation Versys 1000, sold from 2019 through 2024. It combines a 1,043 cc inline four with an upright riding position, 17-inch wheels and KECS electronic suspension using Showa Skyhook technology. It is a road-focused adventure tourer, not an off-road motorcycle. The SE is identified by its electronic suspension and expanded comfort and rider-assistance equipment; panniers and a Grand Tourer pack are accessories, not a different engine or power level.
For riders covering long distances, its 21-litre tank, adjustable screen and relaxed ergonomics make it a mature alternative to sport tourers. The engine produces 88 kW and is not A2-compatible.
