About the Honda Super Cub C 125
The Honda Super Cub C125 is the modern version of the best-selling motor vehicle of all time. Introduced in 2018 with Euro5-compliant fuel injection, the C125 continues the line that began with the original Super Cub C100 in 1958. The air-cooled 125cc SOHC single-cylinder engine delivers modest power but excellent fuel economy. The semi-automatic transmission (clutchless) makes riding accessible to almost everyone. The classic half-fairing design is virtually unchanged but now available in contemporary colours.
The Super Cub C125 targets riders with an AM or A1 licence who want a daily urban motorcycle with iconic design and Honda reliability. The low seat height and light weight make it accessible to virtually any rider. It competes with the Yamaha Icon 125 and Piaggio Liberty 125. In the Netherlands the C125 is popular as a light motorcycle for daily commuting.

What to check before buying
- Check the semi-automatic gearbox for correct engagement in all gears; faults are rare but can be difficult to diagnose.
- Inspect body panels for small scratches and cracks; the half-fairing is vulnerable to parking knocks on urban motorcycles.
- Check the LED lighting system for correct operation; LED assemblies are replaced as a unit, not per bulb.
- Ask about service history; the C125 requires small service intervals (every 4,000 km) that are sometimes skipped in urban use.
