About the Honda CH 250
The Honda CH250, often called Elite 250, is a compact luxury scooter from the 1980s. Its liquid-cooled 244 cc single, automatic CVT, electric starting and integrated bodywork offered considerably more comfort and performance than 50 or 125 cc scooters of the period. Market versions differ in headlight, instruments and naming; a late European registration can conceal an older production year.
The CH250 remains useful for gentle urban and regional riding, but it is now a classic with scarce model-specific parts. Check automatic choke, carburettor, cooling fan and water pump because storage causes more problems than mileage. The CVT should engage without rattle or slip. Panel clips, lighting, seat and original exhaust are difficult to replace. Brakes and small wheels need modern tyres in the correct size. Prefer a complete example with service records and clean cold starting.
