CB 500 X

The final CB500X gained the 41 mm Showa SFF-BP USD fork and twin 296 mm front discs. It keeps the 19-inch front wheel and 471 cc A2 twin with 35 kW and 43 Nm. Kerb weight is 199 kg, seat height 830 mm and tank capacity 17.7 litres. The NX500 that followed is a separate model.

The 2019 CB500X is clearly revised: a 19-inch front wheel, longer suspension travel, more wind protection and an assist/slipper clutch make it more adventure-oriented than its predecessors. The 471 cc twin still produces 35 kW and 43 Nm. At 197 kg kerb, with an 830 mm seat and 17.5-litre tank, this is the first tall 19-inch generation.

The 2016 update gained items including an LED headlight and revised fairing, screen and fork, but remained the 17-inch road-focused CB500X. The 471 cc parallel twin produces 35 kW and 43 Nm through six speeds. Seat height remains 810 mm, the tank grows to 17.5 litres and kerb weight is 196 kg.

The first CB500X is a road-focused lightweight adventure with a 17-inch cast front wheel, conventional 41 mm fork and the 471 cc A2 twin. It produces 35 kW and 43 Nm, has an 810 mm seat, 17.3-litre tank and weighs 196 kg kerb. It is not the later 19-inch version.
