About the Honda C 72
The Honda C72 Dream is an early Japanese 250 cc touring motorcycle from the 1960s. Its air-cooled 247 cc parallel twin uses an overhead camshaft, electric starting, four speeds and an enclosed final chain. Pressed-steel frame, deep mudguards and square headlight create a distinctive shape, clearly different from the sportier CB72 Hawk. Depending on market and registration, it also appears as the Dream 250.
The C72 suits enthusiasts of gentle historic riding and early Honda engineering. Performance and brakes are modest, although the twin is smoother than many contemporaries. Correct engine and frame numbers, original body panels, exhaust and electrics determine value. Inspect the centrifugal oil filter, cam chain, charging system and carburettor. A registration year may post-date production, so verify the serial number before judging parts or price.
