Low Rider ST 117 High Output (2025–heden)
GenerationFrom 2025 the ST gained the Milwaukee-Eight 117 High Output with 114 hp and 173 Nm, plus new intake/exhaust and retuned rear suspension. The year boundary matters: the 2022–2024 ST does not have the same output specification.
Years
2022 - 2024
Low Rider ST Milwaukee-Eight 117 (2022–2024)
GenerationThe first Low Rider ST uses the 1,923cc Milwaukee-Eight 117 with 105 hp and 170 Nm. The El Diablo shares this mechanical base but is a limited styling and equipment version, not its own engine generation.
About the Harley Davidson Low Rider ST
The Harley-Davidson Low Rider ST is the performance tourer in the Softail family, identified by its frame-mounted FXRT-style fairing and fixed saddlebags. The first 2022–2024 ST uses the 1,923cc Milwaukee-Eight 117 with 77 kW and 105 hp. For 2025 the 117 High Output arrived: 85 kW/114 hp, 173 Nm, new intake and exhaust, retuned rear suspension and 304 kg running weight. The two generations share capacity and name, but not the same output.
The ST suits riders wanting a powerful cruiser with real luggage capacity and more cornering clearance than a traditional Harley tourer. The Low Rider El Diablo is a limited styling/equipment version in the same mechanical family, not a separate engine capacity. On a used bike, always establish year, VIN, engine version and accessories. A Low Rider with 1,750cc or a model without clear ST evidence must not be upgraded to 117 specification.

What to check before buying
- Check service records, engine oil and leaks around rocker covers, primary case and exhaust joints.
- Test clutch, transmission and throttle response cold and warm; hard use and aftermarket tuning merit extra attention.
- Inspect rear suspension, fork, brake discs and tyres for even wear; an ST is often ridden harder than a regular cruiser.
- Check fairing, saddlebags, racks and mounting points for cracks, leaks or crash damage.
- Match VIN, year and displacement to the advert. Only 2025-on High Output models should carry 85 kW/114 hp and 173 Nm.
