Ego

The Energica Ego is a fully electric Italian superbike with direct drive, strong regenerative braking and CCS rapid charging. Later Ego+ versions use the larger 21.5 kWh battery and combine extremely high instant torque with more useful range than early models. Weight is substantial but carried low; underway, the Ego feels stable and exceptionally forceful out of corners. Riding modes, adjustable regeneration, traction control and ABS define much of the experience.

Establish the exact battery type, usable capacity, charging history and remaining warranty. Have fault codes and software version checked, then test AC and CCS charging. Interpret predicted range alongside temperature and recent use. Inspect charge port, cables, cooling system, 12V battery and connectors for moisture or damage. Check tyres, brakes, chain and suspension for wear from mass and torque, plus bodywork for crash damage. Energica ceased production operations in 2024, so confirm local parts, software and service support in advance.
