Years
2010 - 2012
The EVO SP is the most track/supermoto-focused 1100 with longer Öhlins suspension, forged wheels and extra ground clearance. Match SP only with explicit identification; inspect original wheels, suspension and underside/frame damage.
Years
2010 - 2012
The Hypermotard 1100 EVO gained more power and less weight than the first series. It remains the air-cooled, belt-driven Desmo supermoto; inspect maintenance, exhaust/heat shields and any evidence of stunt or crash use.
Years
2007 - 2009
The early Hypermotard 1100 S is the higher-spec trim with Öhlins suspension, lighter wheels and carbon details. It shares the air-cooled 1,078cc engine; verify original S parts and Öhlins damper maintenance.
Years
2007 - 2009
The first Hypermotard 1100 combines the air-cooled 1,078cc L-twin with long suspension travel and its signature supermoto stance. Belts, 12,000km desmo service and fork/handlebar damage are key purchase checks.
The Ducati Hypermotard 1100 is a supermoto produced from 2007 to 2012, powered by the air-cooled Monster-derived 1079 cc L-twin. The Hypermotard introduced a new segment for Ducati: supermoto ergonomics (upright, high footpegs, slim tank) paired with a large street engine. The concept, previewed as a 2005 show bike, was immediately influential across the industry. The Evo variant (2010–2012) brought modestly increased power and updated electronic rider aids.
The Hypermotard 1100 attracts riders who want an airy, playful machine with strong character. The high seat and light steering make it nimble in urban conditions; the torque-rich L-twin rewards back-road riding. It is less suited to long touring stints due to its limited fuel capacity and upright position. On the used market, it is popular as a second bike for experienced riders.
A used Ducati Hypermotard 1100 costs €5,965 on average. Most cost €5,140 to €8,124. This is based on 16 motorcycles for sale now.
