About the Beta Techno 270
The Beta Techno 270 is the large trials variant in the 1994 through 1999 Techno range, separate from the Techno 125, 200, 250 and 260. Historic catalogues confirm the model name and period, but do not provide a sufficiently consistent technical data set for one reliable generation. MotorMonitor therefore does not assign displacement, power or a technical edition to this broad profile.
Use this page as a recognition point and verify the frame number, engine number, model year and actual capacity before buying or ordering parts. The Techno 270 is made for trials sections, balance and low-speed work; it is not an RR enduro or a comfortable road motorcycle. On a classic example, cold starting, compression, clutch, brakes, wheels and bearings matter more than mileage. Apply technical values only once the exact variant has been demonstrably identified.

What to check before buying
- Verify frame number, engine number and model year before linking parts; the Techno 270 is listed as a trials model from the Techno period, but technical content is not documented one-to-one for every year.
- Inspect front and rear calipers, pads, discs and hoses for leaks, free operation and correct fit; brake parts must be selected for the established year/type.
- Test cold starting, compression, clutch and low-speed control, and inspect wheels, steering head and swingarm for play or cracks after trials use.
