About the Beta Techno 250
The Beta Techno 250 is a trials motorcycle from the 1994 through 1999 Techno range, clearly separate from the Techno 200, 260 and 270. Independent catalogues do not, however, attach its model name consistently to one exact displacement: both 247cc and 256cc entries occur. MotorMonitor therefore does not assign displacement, power or a generation to this broad Techno 250 profile.
Use this profile as a recognition point and always verify frame number, engine number, model year and actual capacity before buying or ordering parts. A Techno 250 is intended for trials sections, balance and low-speed work, not RR-enduro use or road comfort. On a classic example, cold starting, compression, clutch, brakes, bearings and original components matter more than mileage. Only a demonstrably exact type should receive technical filter values from a specific Techno variant.

What to check before buying
- Verify frame number, engine number and actual capacity before ordering parts; Techno 250 sources list both 247cc and 256cc, so they are not interchangeable.
- On a water-cooled Techno, inspect the radiator, hoses, coolant level and pump area for leaks or damage before extended trials use.
- Test the clutch and both brakes at low speed and check steering-head, wheel and swingarm bearings for perceptible play; use parts only for the established model year/type.
