About the Beta Evo 2T
EVO 2T is a range name, not one unambiguous displacement or generation. Within the EVO trials line, Beta offers several two-stroke sizes including 80, 125, 200, 250 and 300, with model-year and Factory differences. An advert saying only ‘EVO 2T’ is therefore insufficient for a reliable technical assignment.
Always confirm displacement, year, chassis size and exact version from maker's plate, frame number and documents. Only then assess top end, ignition, cooling system, clutch, transmission, suspension and typical trials damage to cases, footrests, rims and skid plate.

What to check before buying
- Confirm displacement, year and Factory/standard version; EVO 2T is not one unambiguous model.
- Check top end, crank noise, ignition and cold starting against the identified displacement.
- Inspect radiator, hoses and water pump for leaks and fall damage.
- Test clutch, gearbox, chain and sprockets for controlled low-speed operation.
- Inspect frame, cases, footrests, skid plate, rims and spokes for trials use.
