About the Beta Alp 350
The source label ‘Alp 350’ must be verified before a technical link is made. Beta published its road-oriented 349 cc single as the ALP 4.0; the 2018 reference has 20 kW/27 hp, six speeds, 133 kg dry weight and a 10.5-litre tank. An advert saying only ‘Alp 350’ may mean that ALP 4.0, but its maker's plate, year and engine code must be confirmed first.
Do not attach 4.0 specifications to an unidentified 350 cc Beta. On a proven ALP 4.0, give particular attention to the air-cooled engine, oil and valve clearance, carburation, chain drive, brakes, suspension and possible off-road/crash damage.

What to check before buying
- Confirm ALP 4.0, model year and engine code explicitly; ‘Alp 350’ is not a complete factory variant name.
- Check cold starting, oil, valve clearance, carburation and exhaust for leaks or uneven running.
- Test clutch, six-speed gearbox, chain, sprockets and rear-wheel alignment for wear and proper maintenance.
- Inspect fork, monoshock, brakes, wheel bearings and frame for off-road or crash damage.
- Check maker's plate, wiring, charging function and all homologation/registration documents.
