About the Aprilia Dorsoduro 750
The Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 is the first generation of the Dorsoduro supermoto, introduced in 2008 and produced until around 2016. Its liquid-cooled 750 cc 90-degree V-twin develops around 91 hp and is paired with ride-by-wire featuring three riding modes. An aluminium-and-steel hybrid frame, long-travel USD fork and standard ABS on later versions complete the package. At roughly 205 kg wet it is relatively light for a 750.
The Dorsoduro 750 targets riders who want a sporty naked supermoto for city traffic and twisty back roads. The seat is tall (870 mm), the bar position wide and upright, and the throttle response sharp. Period rivals included the Ducati Hypermotard 796/821, KTM 690 SMC and the Suzuki Gladius.
