Some Dutch registrations show 8 kW/11 hp. Apply this profile only when the listing or registration explicitly states that value; a restricted registration does not automatically establish A1 or A2 compliance without documentation.

The normal Classic 125 uses the liquid-cooled Rotax 122 two-stroke in full-power form. This row is only for vehicles whose registration or type plate confirms the 20 kW/27 hp version; do not confuse it with the Red Rose 125.
The Aprilia Classic 125 is a genuine lightweight custom/cruiser, not a scooter. It was supplied in the second half of the 1990s with the liquid-cooled Rotax 122 two-stroke single, wire wheels, low cruiser seat and chain drive. This makes it technically distinct from the Classic 50 and the related Red Rose 125, which used a different Rotax engine. Available factory and type data place the Classic 125 in the 1995–2000 period.
For a buyer, the exact version is crucial: both full-power and low-power registrations exist. The full version is listed at 20 kW/27 hp, while Dutch RDW records show an 8 kW/11 hp variant. Do not treat one output as universal—check registration, type plate and any restriction. Also inspect the two-stroke cooling and oil-injection systems, chain and sprockets, and original chrome and mudguard components.
