1954-1956 M 2011
GenerationThe 1954–1956 Adler M 2011 is the 199 cc single-cylinder two-stroke in the earlier M chassis with a large tank and sprung saddle. Keep it separate from the also 199 cc MB 201 with the later MB construction.
About the Adler M 2011
The Adler M 2011 is a genuine, separate Adler model from 1954–1956, not a typo for the MB 201. It combines the new 199 cc air-cooled single-cylinder two-stroke with the earlier M chassis, larger tank and a sprung saddle. The MB 201 is the later MB construction; keep the two separate in a listing. On an example, check the type plate, engine and frame number, fuel and ignition system, crank seals, brakes and suspension.

What to check before buying
- Check type plate, engine and frame number carefully; M 2011 and MB 201 are related but not identical models.
- Check crank seals, bearings, cylinder and piston for wear or signs of transmission-oil consumption.
- Check tank, fuel tap, carburettor and lines for rust, leaks and correct setup.
- Check 6V ignition, dynamo, wiring and contacts for reliable operation.
- Inspect sprung saddle, suspension, drum brakes, spoked wheels, bearings and tyres for safe condition.
