GenerationClassic 125cc largeframe Vespa with steel monocoque and manual shifting. An oldtimer where rust-free bodywork, correct numbers and original cable/brake systems form the core of value.
About the Vespa 125 Super
The Vespa 125 Super is a classic 1960s largeframe Vespa with steel monocoque body, 125cc two-stroke and handlebar manual shifting. It followed the older VNB line and is recognised by compact rounded bodywork and simple mechanics. The Super is a true oldtimer: its value lies in original condition, correct details and a sound steel body.
For a buyer, rust inspection matters more than glossy paint. Check floorboard, tunnel, underside and mudguards carefully, then engine, cables and brakes. The 125 Super rides calmly and with character, but does not offer modern performance or braking. Choose a complete scooter with appropriate registration, correct numbers and as many original parts as possible; poor restorations and incorrect accessories reduce both usability and value.

What to check before buying
- Inspect floorboard, tunnel and underside for rust, filler and poorly repaired damage.
- Check engine compression, carburettor, fuel tap and oil supply for leaks and sound running.
- Test all gears, clutch and shift cables for light operation and correct adjustment.
- Check brakes, tyres, rims and fork for age and safe operation.
- Match frame number, type plate and registration to documents and look for original Super details.
