About the Sym DD 50
The SYM DD 50 is a lightweight automatic two-stroke scooter, also known as Jolie, City Trek or Super Pure depending on the market. Its basic layout is an air-cooled single around 49cc with CVT, electric and kick start, a front disc and rear drum. It was made for short trips; when buying used, focus on the original oiling system and drivetrain.
Specifications differ by market, year and restriction. Use frame and engine numbers, not the DD 50 name alone, for parts and technical values. A tuned or converted scooter must not be assessed as a standard version.

What to check before buying
- Confirm that the oil pump and lines are present and the engine is not relying on uncertain premix.
- Test cold starting, idle and throttle response for excessive smoke or rattles.
- Inspect the CVT belt, variator, clutch and transmission case for wear or tuning.
- Check the front disc, rear drum, tyres, lighting and starter motor.
