About the Sym Cruisym 125
The SYM Cruisym 125 is a roomy GT scooter for commuting, suburban use and longer secondary-road rides. It combines a liquid-cooled 125cc single with broad bodywork, wind protection and under-seat storage. That makes it far more focused on comfort and daily practicality than a compact city scooter.
For car-licence or A1 riders, the Cruisym 125 is particularly relevant as an alternative to a small motorcycle: automatic transmission, relaxed ergonomics and luggage space are useful every day. On a used example, documented servicing matters, especially for the CVT belt and rollers. Also check electrical operation, lights and that the under-seat compartment is dry and complete, as scooters are often parked outside year round.

What to check before buying
- Ask when the CVT belt, rollers and clutch were last checked or replaced; a shudder when moving off needs investigation.
- Check coolant level, fan and radiator for leaks or debris, particularly on city-used examples.
- Test every switch, any USB/12V outlet and all lighting; moisture in connectors is common on scooters.
- Inspect tyres, brake discs and pads for age and even wear.
- Check operation of seat, fuel cap, storage compartment and any keyless system with every supplied key.
