Rieju

Rieju is a Spanish motorcycle brand founded in 1934 in Figueres, Catalonia. The company started with bicycles and mopeds before becoming a specialist in lightweight motorcycles and enduro bikes. Rieju is well-known for affordable 125cc models targeting beginners and young riders, but in recent years has expanded into mid-displacement machines: the Adventure, Xplora, and Scrambler in the 500–700cc class. The brand acquired the production line from Austrian Gas Gas, also covering the enduro and motocross market. A sharp ride dynamic and sporting character are hallmarks of the brand.

In the Dutch used-motorcycle market, Rieju is mainly found as a 125cc entry-level machine, popular with A1-licence riders. The larger models are relatively new and are just entering their second-hand life. Maintenance is accessible and authorised importers operate in the Netherlands. Rieju positions itself below KTM and Husqvarna in the off-road and adventure segment, with an attractive price-to-quality ratio.
