Beverly 350

Built between 2012 and 2017, the Piaggio Beverly 350 was the flagship of the Beverly two-wheeled scooter line and was succeeded by the Beverly 400. The 330 cc Quasar four-stroke single-cylinder engine with four valves drives through a CVT automatic, produces around 33 hp and is aimed at medium-distance commuting. The Beverly retains the signature 16-inch front wheel, unique in its class, which makes it noticeably more stable on poor surfaces, tram tracks and concrete gutters than a typical 14-inch maxi-scooter. ABS became standard from 2014, with ASR traction control on the Sport Touring trim.

The Beverly 350 targets commuters who want comfort and weather protection without the extra-wide bodywork of a TMAX 530. Period rivals were the Yamaha XMAX 400, Honda SH300i, Kymco Xciting 400i and Suzuki Burgman 400. With its upright posture, wide saddle and small windscreen it suits city and B-road work, and is comfortable on the motorway up to cruising speed. Thanks to a competitive used-market price and the robust 330 engine, this is an attractive second-hand option for buyers who want a Beverly without the price premium of the 400 unit.
