About the Peugeot Geopolis 300
The Peugeot Geopolis 300 replaced the earlier 250 in the large-wheel Geopolis family in 2010. It uses a 278cc four-valve Piaggio single, making it much more suited to ring-road and regional riding than the 125. The 300 remained available in several markets until around 2014; confirm the exact specification and brake system on the vehicle itself.
Its large wheels bring composure on imperfect tarmac while CVT transmission keeps daily use simple. When buying, smooth transmission operation, precise steering and well-maintained brakes are essential. Pay particular attention to belt, variator and liquid-cooled-engine servicing.

What to check before buying
- Check belt, variator, clutch and transmission-/engine-oil service; the road test should be free of slipping, vibration or irregular engagement.
- Check coolant, radiator, hoses and water-pump area for leaks or neglected maintenance.
- Inspect fork, steering-head bearings, 16-inch front wheel and tyres for play, damage and stable steering.
- Test brakes, brake fluid and any ABS equipment; check discs, pads, battery and charging voltage.
