GenerationThe Super Dink 125 is the GT-oriented 125 version with liquid cooling, a variator and large protective bodywork. Its greater weight and luggage capacity distinguish it from a compact city scooter.
About the Kymco Super Dink 125
The Kymco Super Dink 125 is a roomy GT scooter for riders wanting more wind protection, luggage space and stability than a light city scooter provides. Its liquid-cooled 124cc single with variator transmission makes the full 125-licence power, while the longer wheelbase is calmer on open roads. In return, at around 166 kg it is noticeably heavier when parking and manoeuvring.
It suits commuting and longer 80-km/h journeys, particularly when two-up comfort and storage matter. On a used example, documented belt-and-roller servicing, a functioning cooling fan and healthy brakes are important. Also test the lighting and dash electrics, and inspect the bodywork for damage; replacement GT-scooter panels are not always inexpensive.

What to check before buying
- Ask for proof of CVT belt, roller and clutch replacement; pull-away vibration points to maintenance needs.
- Check cooling fan, radiator and coolant for correct operation and leaks in town use.
- Inspect parking brake, discs and calipers; the higher weight puts extra load on brake components.
- Check seat and storage latches plus all body-panel mounts for damage.
