About the Kawasaki KL 250
The early Kawasaki KL250 is a lightweight four-stroke dual sport from the late 1970s and early 1980s. Its air-cooled 246 cc single, five speeds and simple long-travel suspension suit relaxed road and trail riding. Later Super Sherpa models use a KL250 designation but represent a different generation.
This classic KL is approachable and mechanically simple, although performance and brakes are modest. Verify model code and production year so a Super Sherpa is not misclassified. Corrosion, worn cam/valve gear and damaged off-road components are the main purchase risks.

What to check before buying
