About the Husqvarna TE 250
The Husqvarna TE 250 is a 250 cc two-stroke enduro from Husqvarna Motorcycles' competition-focused TE family. The current generation shares its liquid-cooled engine and chrome-moly steel frame with the KTM 250 EXC; Transfer Port Injection (TPi) and later TBI fuel injection produce around 46 hp in a sub-105 kilo dry chassis. A WP Xplor fork, WP Xplor PDS shock, Brembo brakes and a ProTaper handlebar make the platform ready for enduro use out of the crate. Models up to 2017 carried the Husaberg DNA; from 2018 the bike moved to the current Pierer-concern platform.
The TE 250 is a pure off-road bike with road homologation: licence plate, lights and mirrors are fitted but finish is enduro-first. It targets A-licence riders who use it for trail riding or short transfers between off-road sections rather than commuting. Seat height is around 950 mm, the bars are narrow, and the air filter and clutch require regular inspection. Direct competitors include the KTM 250 EXC, GasGas EC 250, Beta RR 250 2T and Sherco SE 250.
