About the Honda Forza 125
The Honda Forza 125 is a maxi-scooter powered by a 125 cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine, introduced in 2015 as a step up from the SH 125i in the maxi segment. Its water-cooled SOHC engine delivers around 15 hp and meets Euro 5 standards in the current MF13 generation. The Forza 125 stands apart from standard mopeds with its comfortable seating position, large windscreen and generous underseat storage.
The Forza 125 suits A1-licence holders (or car-licence riders with a theory test) who commute daily and want to handle longer rides. Its big-bike appearance and ride feel make it a natural step up from a basic moped. Rivals include the Yamaha XMAX 125 and Kymco Downtown 125. The large underseat compartment accommodates a full-face helmet.

What to check before buying
- Check the variator rollers and drive pulley for wear; worn rollers cause shuddering or hesitation during acceleration.
- Inspect the V-belt for cracks or fraying; replace preventively every 20,000 km as a snapped belt stops the scooter immediately.
- Check the front fork for oil leaks; the fork is relatively narrow and easily knocked out of alignment in a tip-over.
- Check the battery charge capacity; the integrated electronics (TFT display, starter motor) drain the battery quickly with frequent cold starts.
