About the Honda CB 92
The Honda CB 92 Benly Super Sport is a rare, light 125cc sporting classic from the early 1960s. Its air-cooled OHC parallel twin is related to the C92, but the CB 92 has a sportier chassis, lower riding position and clear racing inspiration. With around 11 hp it is lively for its capacity, while low weight makes it appealing on twisting secondary roads.
A CB 92 is bought chiefly for historical significance and detail. Correct tank, exhaust, brakes, mudguards and small engine parts matter more to value than a quick cosmetic restoration. Check numbers, 6V electrics, carburettors and camshaft condition when viewing. Because it is rare, a complete honest motorcycle is preferable to an incomplete project containing many non-original parts.

What to check before buying
- Check engine and frame numbers and compare tank, exhaust and brakes with correct CB 92 specification.
- Test the 6V generator, regulator and wiring; voltage loss is common with old connections.
- Listen to camshaft and timing chain, and inspect for oil around the cylinder head.
- Inspect carburettors and fuel tap for leaks or poor cold starting after storage.
