The BMW R100RT is a classic German touring motorcycle introduced by BMW Motorrad in 1978, powered by an air-cooled boxer-twin of 980 cc producing around 70 hp. The R100RT is the fully faired touring version of the R100 series and was distinguished by a large integrated fairing and windshield that provided excellent protection on long motorway rides.
