2012–2015 Tesi 3D Naked
EditionThe high-handlebar, two-seat Tesi 3D Naked with 1,078cc Ducati L-twin, hub-centre steering and 2-into-1 exhaust. The Naked is not a converted standard 3D: it has its own riding position and explicit model designation.
Years
2012 - 2014
2012–2014 Tesi 3D Evo
EditionThe later Tesi 3D Evo period with the 1,078cc Ducati L-twin and hub-centre steering. Use this edition only for an explicit Evo/E designation; generic Tesi 3D advertisements do not automatically belong here.
Years
2010 - 2013
2010–2013 Tesi 3D Biposto
EditionThe two-seat Tesi 3D Biposto with the same 1,078cc Ducati L-twin and hub-centre concept. Identify it by the explicit Biposto designation and two-seat equipment; do not confuse it with the single-seat standard 3D.
Years
2007 - 2011
2007–2011 Tesi 3D standaard
GenerationThe original single-seat Tesi 3D with hub-centre steering and Ducati 1,078cc air/oil-cooled Desmodue L-twin. Keep this early base version separate from the later Evo, Biposto and Naked.
About the Bimota Tesi 3/D
The Bimota Tesi 3/D is the hub-centre-steered Ducati-Bimota built from 2007 around an air/oil-cooled 1,078cc Desmodue L-twin. Its distinctive front and rear swingarms provide steering and suspension without a conventional telescopic fork. Within the 3/D line, trim and production year matter: the original monoposto, two-seat Biposto, updated Evo and high-handlebar Tesi 3D Naked are not interchangeable labels. The Naked is a two-seater with a conventional 2-into-1 exhaust; the Evo marks the later technical era. Always verify the original identification plate, year and equipment before linking parts or market value to a particular variant.
