Tornado Tre 1130
GenerationThe confirmed fully faired Tornado Tre 1130 run, presented in 2006 and seen in practice as a 2007–2010 model. Its 1,131 cc 120 kW triple distinguishes it technically and visually from all Tornado 900 versions and the naked TNT.
About the Benelli Tornado 1130
The Benelli Tornado Tre 1130 is the fully faired 1,131 cc version of the Tornado line, presented in 2006 and registered in the Netherlands from 2007. It uses the liquid-cooled triple from the TNT family, but is a separate sports motorcycle with its own fairing, chassis and riding position. The Tornado 1130 is explicitly not a Tornado 900 LE or RS: those 900 cc versions use a different engine and have their own model history.
The 1130 suits an experienced rider seeking a distinctive Italian triple sports bike. Its 120 kW/163 hp, roughly 124 Nm and weight make maintenance condition more important than mileage alone. At purchase, inspect cooling, injection, clutch, brakes, fan package and original fairing parts carefully. Also verify frame number, year and displacement: adverts frequently mix Tornado, Tornado Tre, 900 and 1130 terminology too broadly.

What to check before buying
- Check type plate and frame number: Tornado 1130, Tornado 900 LE/RS and TNT 1130 are not interchangeable models.
- Check the triple for cold starting, fault codes, injection setup, spark plugs and documented valve-clearance service.
- Inspect radiator, hoses, coolant and the fan package for leaks, activation and signs of heat-related problems.
- Inspect clutch, six-speed gearbox, chain and sprockets for slip, heavy shifting or inconsistent engagement.
- Inspect brakes, fork, shock, original fairing parts and mountings for wear, damage and improvised repairs.
