About the Aprilia RS4 50
The Aprilia RS4 50 is the 50 cc sport motorcycle sold under the RS4 name from 2011 through 2017. It is the 50 cc successor to the RS 50 and distinct from the four-stroke RS4 125. The RS4 50 uses a liquid-cooled Derbi D50B0 single-cylinder two-stroke with wet multi-plate clutch, six speeds and chain final drive.
For a used example, verify 50 cc/D50B0 identity, legal restriction and actual displacement. Carburettor, cylinder kit, exhaust and CDI are often modified; never adopt advertised power without that check. Cooling, two-stroke lubrication, transmission oil, chain set and brakes need documented service.

What to check before buying
- Confirm RS4 50 and D50B0; do not use RS4 125 or older RS 50 specifications as a baseline.
- Inspect radiator, hoses, water pump and coolant for leaks or overdue maintenance.
- Check two-stroke lubrication and correct oil; do not confuse it with transmission oil for wet clutch and six-speed gearbox.
- Check restriction, cylinder kit, carburettor, exhaust and CDI for registration-compliant configuration.
- Inspect chain, sprockets, clutch, 17-inch tyres and front/rear disc brakes.
