SM 570

The Husqvarna SM 570 is a raw, lightweight supermoto built around Husqvarna's large four-stroke single. It combines strong immediate torque with a stiff chassis, long-travel suspension and powerful road brakes. The result is extremely lively on short twisting routes, while vibration, limited fuel capacity and servicing demands reduce motorway suitability. Road registration and specification vary by country, and some examples combine enduro or competition components.

Check VIN, engine code, registration and original SM specification. Ask about oil and filter changes, valve clearances, cam chain, piston, crank bearings and any balancer work. Start it completely cold and watch for smoke, heavy mechanical knocking, carburation quality and hot restarting. Inspect airbox and intake for dust, radiators and cases for impacts, and frame, subframe and steering stops for damage. Check fork seals, rear shock, steering-head, swingarm and wheel bearings. Examine wheels for runout and brake discs for warping. Exhaust and carburettor changes need documented tuning; original parts and service invoices add value.
