The CMX450C Rebel is the short 447cc cruiser with a parallel twin and low seat. It is rarer than the 250; check original tank and exhaust parts.
The Honda CMX450 Rebel is a classic cruiser powered by a 447 cc four-stroke parallel-twin engine. Honda launched the larger Rebel alongside the CMX250 in 1986 as a mid-weight cruiser for riders wanting more power and torque. Power is approximately 27 hp and at 166 kg the weight remains relatively low for a mid-class cruiser. Production ended in 1989, after which Honda did not offer a 450 cc Rebel for many years.
The CMX450 Rebel targets riders stepping up from the lighter 250 Rebel but not yet ready for a full 750 or 883 cc cruiser. Low seat height (690 mm), a smooth clutch, and modest torque keep it manageable for less experienced riders. Period rivals included the Suzuki GZ250 and Kawasaki VN400. Today it is an affordable classic for enthusiasts.
