Brabus

BRABUS is a German high-performance company from Bottrop, founded in 1977. It is best known for extensive Mercedes-Benz modifications, but entered motorcycles with the BRABUS 1300 R: a limited naked bike based technically on the KTM 1290 Super Duke R EVO. BRABUS adds its own bodywork, carbon details, wheels, equipment and distinctive design, so it is not an independent mass-market motorcycle maker with a broad range.

For Dutch buyers, a BRABUS motorcycle is primarily an exclusive, high-performance collector and rider machine. On a used example, verify the variant, serial-number documentation, original parts and servicing by a KTM or BRABUS-capable specialist. Much of the core engineering is shared with KTM, but model-specific body, wheel and accessory parts can cost more or be less immediately available. Assess a 1300 R on completeness, damage history and supporting documentation as well as power.
