About the Benelli TRK 800
The Benelli TRK 800 is a larger adventure tourer in the TRK family, built around the 754 cc parallel twin shared with the 752 S. The liquid-cooled twin with 270-degree crank produces around 56 kW (76 hp) and about 67 Nm of torque. The steel tubular frame is paired with 19/17-inch wheels on the TRK 800X and 17-inch hoops on the standard version. Cornering ABS, three ride modes, a 5-inch TFT dash and pannier rails come standard.
The TRK 800 targets riders looking for a fully equipped tourer in the 750-800 cc class as a value alternative to the Honda NX-series, Suzuki V-Strom 800DE and Yamaha Tenere 700. With a roughly 830 mm seat height and around 230 kg curb weight it suits long days, two-up loads and motorway work. Pull-away is smooth, the torque is broad and the standard screen does its job above 130 km/h. The chassis is tuned for tarmac and light off-road; for harder dirt the 702X has more suspension travel.

What to check before buying
- Check paint and coatings around the tank and engine block - finish quality lags Honda and Yamaha
- Test all TFT functions including Bluetooth pairing and trip computer - firmware glitches occur
- Inspect brake calipers and lines for corrosion after winter storage
- Ask for service history - Dutch parts lead times from Italy/China are known to be long
- Check throttle response in first and second gear; jerky fuelling in town traffic has been reported
