TRK 251 (2019-heden)
GenerationThe TRK 251 is the 249 cc single-cylinder adventure-tourer with six gears and an 18-litre tank. Look for TRK 251 type data; do not use 502/502X specifications for this lighter single-cylinder version.
About the Benelli TRK 251
The Benelli TRK 251 is a light adventure-tourer with a liquid-cooled 249 cc single, six gears and a steel trellis frame. It arrived in 2019 alongside the larger TRK 502 line and uses its own 250 engine base, related to but not identical with the way some markets name BN/TNT 251 models. Its 18-litre tank and upright position are aimed at commuting and longer asphalt miles, not heavy off-road riding.
For a used TRK 251, service records, correct cooling and verified model identity matter. Check chain, brakes, screen and fairing mounts, every switch and charging voltage. On a test ride, assess seat comfort, wind protection and the condition of tyres and wheels. Verify by VIN that it is a TRK 251 rather than a TRK 502/502X; those models have different capacity, mass and parts.

What to check before buying
- Ask for proof of oil, coolant and valve service, then test cold start, cooling fan and stable hot running.
- Check chain, sprockets and rear-wheel alignment, especially on bikes used with luggage or for commuting.
- Inspect screen, fairing panels, hand guards and mounts for cracks, vibration or drop damage.
- Measure charging voltage and inspect battery, connectors, instruments, lights and switches.
- Confirm the TRK 251 type plate and VIN before applying parts or technical data from the larger TRK 502 line.
