BN 600 R (2013-2016)
GenerationThe BN 600 R is the naked 600 cc inline-four rated at 60 kW. Match only BN 600 R/R type data; exclude the touring GT and separate BN 600i/TNT labels unless VIN and parts data confirm them.
About the Benelli BN 600 R
The Benelli BN 600 R is the early naked inline-four in the BN 600 family. It has a liquid-cooled 600 cc inline-four with six gears, 60 kW and 52 Nm. The R is its own type designation: it should not automatically be equated with a BN 600i, BN 600 GT or later TNT 600 profile, even though those models share a technical basis.
For a used example, complete maintenance history is decisive. Run the four-cylinder engine cold and hot, check the cooling fan and charging voltage, and assess the chain set, brakes and suspension under test-ride load. Use VIN and type plate to confirm the exact R model and ABS equipment. That avoids incorrect parts orders and prevents a GT or i specification being applied to a naked R.

What to check before buying
- Check documented oil, coolant and valve service, then test cold start, hot running and cooling-fan operation.
- Measure charging voltage and inspect battery, connections and wiring for corrosion or non-original accessories.
- Inspect chain, sprockets, rear-wheel alignment and clutch, then test the six-speed gearbox fully warm.
- Check discs, pads, fork legs, steering head and naked-bike mounting points for low-speed-drop damage.
- Confirm BN 600 R identity, year and ABS by VIN/type plate before treating BN 600i or GT parts as compatible.
